Your data stays on your device

In short: Sheet & Send has no account and no server. Everything you enter stays on your phone, tablet or computer, and only leaves it when you choose to export it, back it up or email it. We don't collect, see, sell or share any of your data.

What the app stores

Your business details, logo, clients, timesheets, invoices and settings are saved in the app's own storage on your device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it, unless you have made a backup.

This includes details about your clients that you enter, such as their names, addresses and email addresses. You decide what to record, and that information stays on your device in the same way.

When data leaves your device

Only when you do something that sends it somewhere:

Emailing an invoice or timesheet. The app opens your own email app with the message and PDF ready. You choose whether to send it, and it goes from your email account to the recipient you pick, never through us.
Sharing or exporting. PDFs and spreadsheet (CSV) exports go wherever you choose to save or share them, such as your files, a cloud drive or another app.
Backups. A backup is a file you save to a location you pick, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive or a USB stick. It is stored by that service under its own privacy policy.

Importing from Google Docs

This is optional. If you connect a Google account to import an existing timesheet or invoice, the app asks Google for:

your email address, to show which account is connected;
read-only access to the names and folders of your Google Drive files, so you can pick a document;
read-only access to Google Docs, to read the documents you choose to import.

The app talks to Google directly from your device. It reads only the documents you import, can't change or delete anything in your Google account, and keeps what it imports on your device like everything else. The sign-in token is stored in your device's secure storage. You can disconnect in the app at any time, or remove access in your Google Account's security settings.

Sheet & Send's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is never transferred to us or to third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.

Purchases

Upgrading to Pro is handled entirely by the App Store, Google Play or Microsoft Store. We don't receive your payment details. The store tells the app whether Pro has been bought, so it can unlock it.

No tracking

The app has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it doesn't collect crash reports or usage data. This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to see how many people visit and which pages they look at. It doesn't identify you, and nothing from the app is ever sent to it.

Children

Sheet & Send is a business tool for adults and isn't aimed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You stay in full control of your data in the app: you can edit or delete anything, or remove the app entirely.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
